We’re pleased to have a couple of new vendors joining The Market this week. JavaGenesis Coffee is listing with us for the first time. They roast their coffees within a day or so of delivery to The Market, using fair trade and organic beans whenever possible. Check out their site under Growers to see the details. New plants in The Market this week, including several varieties of colorful Annual flowers, a full slate of Tomato Plants like the scrumptious Brandywine pink, the Black Krim dark Russian Tomato, and Sun Gold golden cherry Tomatoes, very sweet. More Herbs are also on the menu, including Thyme, several Oreganos,and 3 new Basils, plus a few more besides.
EGGS, MILK, BREAD AND BAKED GOODS, and many other items are available every week, giving you an alternative to “grocery store quality”. Help us support the people who give us these real nutritious choices! Be sure to check out The Market this week.

This week we’re seeing more Live Plants in the new Organic Herb Plants subcategory from LEILANI’S. Several varieties, including Parsleys, Dill, and Basil, are ready this week (sorry, no pictures yet) and more will be joining the menu next week. There is much already planted in the vendor’s fields, and we expect to have plenty of fresh Produce in a month or so.

Spring is arriving next weekend, and that gives us a chance to celebrate our first Market for Spring 2015. Highlighted this week are more Organic Vegetable Plants for your garden from LEILANI’S. This week you’ll see 2 more Lettuce mixes, plus Kale, Kohlrabi, and Leeks (sort of a mild, sweet green onion great for soups and stews). These are all 4-pack Vegetable plants grown in organic soil (non-GMO seeds).

After a week of annoying and inconvenient weather it looks like things might return to a little more normal, and that’s good news for all you Locavores out there! MY DAILY BREAD was without power for several days but they are back and rarin’ to go. It also looks like we may be offering a new vendor shortly, with more coming this Spring, so stay tuned for some exciting announcements!
