Set up a FREE ACCOUNT to order. Your orders are picked fresh or processed on Thursdays and Friday mornings and are ready to be picked up at our host location, LEILANI’S GARDENS on Friday afternoons from 4-6 pm. OKRA and The GHOST: New Produce Arrivals

HI EVERYONE!

Got a few new things to talk about this week. LEILANI’S is adding Okra to the Market for the first time this year. It’s young, fresh, and perfectly sized for cooking. Only listing 3 Available so order early, but if I can scrounge more together I will. And the first Peppers are here, with the Green Ghost Pepper, milder but still bitey cousin of the famer red Ghost Pepper, and a nice small Sweet Red Pepper great for salads and cooking. They join Spring Green Onions, Squash, Tomatoes, various Zucchinis, Cucumbers, and more, so take a look at all the goodies in the Vegetable section this week.

FIVE HENS FARMS has added PeeWee Free-range Eggs to their Listings. These are smaller Eggs which are less expensive versions of their larger brothers. I use this size all the time and they taste just as great and work just as well for cooking anything besides Sunny-Side Up Eggs.

Because MY DAILY BREAD has such wonderful Breads, Bagels, Brownies, and Tiramisu we tend to forget that they also have superb Jams, Jellies, and Preserves, many of them organic, like their amazing Hot Pepper Peach Jam. There are great items in the Prepared Foods and Processed Foods categories every week. Don’t forget to give them a look!

REMEMBER! You can order until Tuesday night at 9 pm. Pick up your order at Leilani’s Gardens Friday afternoons from 4 to 7pm.
