Tasty Offerings this week include MY DAILY BREAD’s yummy Everything Bagels covered in sesame seeds, poppy seeds, minced onion and garlic, and sea salt. Smells and tastes great and is even better with their Organic Veggie Cream Cheese Spread.
Elsewhere. last week we saw BEAR RIDGE LODGE‘s amazingly beautiful Chicken Eggs and Duck Eggs, which are excellent for baking. Veggie-wise on this week’s Market are fresh-picked Spinach, Bok Choi, Spinach, and Collards. Good News for you Egg-lovers, we have added lovely large Duck Eggs and some of the prettiest multicolored large-Jumbo Chicken Eggs to Bakery*The Market* this week, both from BEAR RIDGE LODGE, a Certified Naturally Grown vendor new to our Harvest. Chickens generally don’t lay much during the short, cold days of winter, so having good quantities is a pleasant surprise.
BTW I think we have some excellent vendors in Dawson Harvest and remember you can always find information about all of the Providers on the Our Growers page.
Spotlight on MY DAILY BREAD, with several items returning to The Market this week. First off, Bagels, both Plain and also Everything, which is the absolute truth! And how about a treat for our Vegan customers, with Vegan Organic Spelt Bread. You’ll find them in the Fresh Bakery section.

It’s a New Year (almost) and there’s a lot going on with the Dawson Harvest as 2018 begins. Cool-weather Vegetables are in good supply this week, with Turnips making their first appearance this season. White Root Turnips are the wonderful boiled Turnip that’s a favorite side dish, and Hakurei Turnips are the excellent-tasting salad Turnip that adds a flavorful touch to Salads, which makes them a perfect complement to the fresh Lettuce Mix that’s ready now. Crispy Spinach is also available, and Bok Choi
MY DAILY BREAD is in the process of relocating but is still offering most of their delicious organic, non-GMO Breads, Baked Goods, Jams, Jellies, and Desserts for the Market this week.

Hey, Winter’s coming, and that means some of our favorite Vegetables will once again be available. Let’s start with Arugula from BACK IN TIME FARM. Arugula is a spicy-tasting leafy Green from the Mustard Green family that adds life to green salads, pasta salads, saute’ed, and much more. It joins other tasty winter greens like Collards, Spinach, Radishes, Turnips,and more. Check out all the delicious offerings in our Vegetable section.
And speaking of delicious, the Holidays are without a doubt prime dessert time, and MY DAILY BREAD has just what you (and all your guests) want!
