HI EVERYBODY!
Yes indeed, the Dawson Harvest does have a lot of edibles like our fresh-picked Vegetables, wonderful Breads, Bagels, and Desserts, raw Milk, and lots more, but we do have some other great offerings. HANALEI BATH makes all-natural Body and Bath products using shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, a wide variety of essential oils, sea salt (for bath salts) and other natural healthy ingredients
HANALEI BATH has a wide variety of wonderful products like their Lavender Bud and Oatmeal Soap. Their Essential Oil blends come with names like Relieve It or Knot, and their other Soaps, Lip Balms, Shea Butters, and Bath Salts are equally well made and well-targeted.. Their products are great as gifts (Teacher gifts, Graduation, etc.) as well as treats for yourself. You’ll find them in The Market under Bath and Beauty.
But of course we do also have food, like Baby Carrots, several varieties of Lettuce, plus Kale, Swiss Chard, spring green and purple-bulb Green Onions and red and white Turnips. Check out the listings for The Market to see everything that’s available this week.

Quick Update after a check on the Produce fields. Baby Carrots are available, purple Green Onions and “regular” Green Onions, lots of Lettuces, Kales, Turnips, Bok Choy, and Swiss Chard.
MY DAILY BREAD is back after a decade’s worth of adversity, plus free-range Eggs, raw Milk, local Honey and much more!
The Market is OPEN now through Tuesday night at 9 pm.

NEW CLOSING TIME FOR DAWSON HARVEST

New Closing Time for Pickups at the Harvest
HI GUYS!
From the very beginning the Market has always closed on Friday at 7 pm. We did this as a convenience for customers who worked late or had other scheduling problems. This is not really working well for us, as we frequently are at Farmers Markets (like the new one at Tractor Supply at 400) or in other situations. This requires us to get staff to stay late, usually waiting for a single customer, etc. This simply does not make sense economically.
Therefore we have decided to institute new pickup hours of 4 pm to 6 pm on Fridays. We can certainly make arrangements for pickups perhaps earlier or on Saturday mornings. I hope this will not pose a problem for any of you, our customers that we value so much.

Bruce Wills of Daily Bread hit by Drunk Driver!
Bruce Wills of Daily Bread hit by Drunk Driver
Bruce Wills of Daily Bread was driving home when the minivan he was driving was hit head-on by a drunk driver. The driver, a woman with previous offenses, had no license, registration or insurance. She was intoxicated and swerved across 4 lanes to hit Bruce’s vehicle. The van was completely destroyed, but quick thinking by a nurse who witnessed the collision potentially saved his life. The driver faces several charges including vehicular assault.
Bruce is home now recovering and in good spirits. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Naturally with their vehicle destroyed Daily Bread will not be delivering this week.

Exciting New Produce Rolling In!

Lots of New Produce This Week!
HI EVERYBODY!
I always get excited when new delicacies start arriving in mid-Spring, and this week looks to be loaded! From LEILANI’S, fresh Baby Carrots so crisp and tender, and lovely purple-bulb Spring Green Onions, a delight for salads, stir-fry, and more. They join Scarlet and White Turnips, Kales, a whole mess of Lettuces, “regular” Green Onions, Swiss Chard and Bok Choi.
Next Up, awesome Strawberries from BRAMBERI FARM (I got so excited when I found out they were available I couldn’t type straight, as some of you surely noticed). This early in the season quantities are limited by sunlight and temperature, and The Market is first ordered, first served, so be aware and get your orders in pronto!
Apologies for DAILY BREAD who had to bail on last week’s orders thanks to a fire in one oven and a door falling off another! What troopers, though, they’re back on this week!
