First the OOOPs!
In talking about raw Milk in yesterday’s Weblog I forgot to mention that in the state of Georgia raw Milk is only approved for pet consumption. While some people would say that I am Leilani’s pet and therefore qualify, you should consider the state’s stance when contemplating any purchase.
DAILY BREAD has completed their move and are again listing on The Market. Also, COPPERHEAD HOMESTEAD has added some more cuts of their amazing grass-fed Beef to this week’s Market

What’s the Deal with Raw Milk?
As you know, the Dawson Harvest has raw Milk from LITTLE BROWN COW CREAMERY. So why should you drink unpasteurized raw Milk? When you heat milk to destroy potential harmful bacteria it also degrades heat-sensitive vitamins like C, E, B-12, and good antibodies. The Dawson Harvest continues to have lots of delectable food for your family Table. You’ll still find vine-ripened Heirloom Tomatoes, lots more Squash and Cucumbers, Eggplant, and several varieties of Peppers. Then there’s super-tender COPPERHEAD’S grass-fed Beef and BACK IN TIME’s melt-in-your-mouth pastured Chicken. Local Honey, free-range Eggs, raw Milk and more. If you care about what you and your family eat, Locally-Grown is the way to go!
MY DAILT BREAD is relocating this week and will not be listing during the move. They fully expect to be back on The Harvest next week. Good Luck with the move, guys!

Hoo-yah! CHICKEN is Back on The Market!!
HI EVERYBODY!
I have been looking all over for an outdoor pastured Poultry grower, and am very excited I could enlist a farm with an excellent reputation, BACK IN TIME FARMS out of Stratham, GA. Right now they are between processings but do have Boneless/skinless Chickens Breasts, a Chicken 8-pack, and Medium-hot Chicken Breakfast Sausage Links, all non-GMO, no antibiotics, etc. We’re fortunate to have them, and there’s no better road to eating healthy! In the Meats section.
BEST KEFIR EVER? Yes says Leilani, who has been having a conniption fit ever since she discovered Tanya’s creation over at CULTURAL TRADITIONS. Leilani is a big Kefir fan in general, but she says nothing tastes as good as their Coconut Milk Kefir! Leilani literally begged Tanya to list this so she could get more! You’ll find this and other tasty treats in the Fermented/Probiotic Products section.

Wow, that was some storm! What a mess! I hope you weathered it all right. That was pretty scary at times. There’s lots of branches and debris and some missing shingles, but the Farm is fine and the Dawson Harvest is going forward as usual. You still have time to place any orders you might like for this week. We have fresh-picked heirloom Tomatoes, new Cucumbers, and lots more. But let us hear from you, even if you don’t want to place an order this week.

Tomatoes are coming back in at LEILANI’S, joining Cucumbers, Eggplant, different Peppers and yellow Squash. Kale and more Green Beans are in the ground, if we can keep the rabbits from eating them.
CULTURAL TRADITIONS has a great new flavor of Jun, Mint Lime. Jun is a fizzy drink kind of like soda, made from fermented green tea, honey, and various other all-natural ingredients and is available in several flavors. They are deliciously different and quite refreshing. Give them a try. In the Fermented / Probiotic section
FIVE HENS’ chickens are apparently on strike, but LEILANI’S has smaller freshly-laid Eggs available for only $3 dollars a dozen.
