The DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST

The DAWSON LOCAL HARVEST for the 1st week of June 2014

GREETINGS EVERYONE, AND HAPPY SUMMER!

You’re should see more listings on The Market page and have a wider selection of Produce choices as well as other items like the free-range pork. There are more TOMATOES, plus making their first appearance of the year are 3 different PEPPERS and CROOKNECK SQUASH. Please take a look at The Market page for this week to see all that’s available!

Spotlight This Week: FIVE HENS FARMS

With an ever-expanding list of products, FIVE HENS FARMS is contributing some delicious diversity to the Harvest! If you’ve never tasted the difference between “grocery store” and free-range pork you literally don’t know what you’re missing. The absolute same can be said for their fresh Eggs. If you haven;t had an omelet or quiche with fresh Eggs it will be an eye-opening experience. GIVE IT A TRY! I think you’ll be delighted, and if not you can always throw the leftovers at me (I’ll just eat’em anyway).

REMEMBER! You can order until Tuesday night at 8pm. Pick up your order at Leilani’s Gardens Friday afternoons from 4 to 7pm.
